Tours of the Portsmouth Brewery are offered on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 3:00 PM.

The Portsmouth Brewery, New Hampshire's original brewpub, has been serving great food and outstanding handcrafted beers in a friendly, lively atmosphere since 1991. The Portsmouth Brewery will typically have 6-7 of their own beers on tap, plus usually 3 from their sister brewery, Smuttynose. Growlers cost $4.00 for the glassware, then $10 to $18 for the actual brew, depending on the style. Also available in the pub are 22oz bottles of Smuttynose Big Beers. The adjacent store sells a wide array of high-quality clothing, as well as 22oz "bombers" of Portsmouth beer.
