BrewDog may have started as a tiny garage operation in Scotland but they are very quickly taking over much of the world.

Currently, there are over 100 BrewDog pubs and outposts around the globe in different stages of reopening after the havoc caused by COVID-19, but that hasn’t slowed the now global brewer ambitions one bit.

On January 18th BrewDog co-Founder James Watt took to Twitter to tease a possible Las Vegas strip venue in “Sin City.” And now he’s announced that the company has signed a lease for the 30,000-square-foot rooftop location in Vegas, which will feature a swimming pool as well as a 10 barrel brewing system.

So this thing’s a go-go.

This from Watt’s initial announcement…

“BrewDog Vegas is going to be epic! We have secured a brilliant rooftop location in the heart of the strip.”

“We are going to have an urban forest and rooftop garden, a brewery, a beer museum and maybe a special edition of Elvis Juice on tap.”

“To expand like this, when our hospitality business and the entire sector is on its knees is a huge gamble and one of the biggest gambles we have ever taken.”

“But we believe things will start to get back to normal in late 2021. We believe consumers will be looking for more great quality experiences and we believe consumers will ever increasingly want to align themselves with businesses that truly care about the planet and sustainability.”

BrewDog Vegas is just one of 40 new locations around the world either under construction or at various stages of the design process.

The Scotland-headquartered brewer currently operates US locations in Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Columbus, Ohio. BrewDog Vegas hopes to welcome customers in nine months to one year.

The company recently raised £17.28m in its latest equity for punks exercise, just shy of closing in on its £20m target.
