2020 is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the season with a variety of fresh offerings that are fun and cold weather-ready.

No Collision? (Austin, TX) -Strange Land Brewery is wading into the political wilds with its latest limited release. Pouring jet-black and sporting a striking tan head, Strange Land No Collusion is a 10.1 ABV Russian Imperial Stout which was aged for nine months in Allied American bourbon barrels. Complex and nuanced, Strange Land Brewery wants to make it blatantly clear that there was absolutely no collusion involved in the creation of this ultra-small batch offering.

Brown Knows (Nampa, ID/ Vista, CA) – The Mother Earth Brew Co is returning an award-winner as its first Rotational Draft Series selection for 2020. Now available at both of Mother Earth’s taprooms, Fantasy Island Coconut Brown is a 6% ABV American Brown Ale brewed with coconut flakes. And beginning in January this draft-only release can be enjoyed in both CO2 and Nitro versions.

Alter Brewing Danks You! (Downers Grove, IL) – Alter Brewing Company has unleashed a new limited release that reimagines a taproom favorite and is never exactly the same. The latest variation of Dank You Double India Pale Ale features a combination of Sabro and Mosaic Hops, producing an intense tropical aroma and coconut and pineapple flavors.

, Best Winter Beers: New White Ales, Stouts and Hazy IPA’sJacked up (Paso Robles, CA) – – Firestone Walker has announced an interesting release that’s as full-flavored as it is low cal. Crafted for drinkers who keep an active and healthy lifestyle, but don’t want to sacrifice flavor for fewer calories, Firestone Walker Flyjack is a 4% ABV India Pale Ale with only 96 calories and the kind of character and mouthfeel that is normally associated with higher-octane Hazy IPAs.

Best Served Cold (Boston, MA) – The Boston Beer Company is returning its annual winter seasonal with a new recipe that adjusts body and spice levels to brighten things up. Best enjoyed when its cold and brisk out, Samuel Adams Cold Snap  is a 5.3% ABV unfiltered White Ale with an incredibly balanced menu of fruit, floral and spice tones and a smoother than ever finish.
