With Thanksgiving signaling the start of the winter holidays, American craft brewers are addressing the season with a variety of new offerings that should pair smartly with just about everything festive.

Black Friday Beer (Austin, TX) – On Black Friday, Nov 29th, Jester King Brewery will be releasing something that’s definitely not black, nor is it traditional. Almost the antithesis of Black Friday’s big stout release, Jester King More Dots is a 5.8% ABV Wild Ale which was brewed with well water and refermented with 2,000 pounds of black currants from Samson Farms in Everson, Washington.

Tempting (Dallas, TX) – Lakewood Brewing has an interesting new addition to its ever-evolving Seduction Series, a line of Temptress Imperial Milk Stout variations. Aged for a year and a half in a bourbon barrel, then conditioned with caramel and sea salt, Lakewood Salted Caramel Temptress is a rich and creamy 12.1% ABV Imperial Milk Stout that’s almost dessert in a bottle.

, Best Winter Beers, Holiday Lagers And Belgian Ales‘Tis The Season Again (Seattle, WA) – Redhook Brewing has returned an ever-evolving holiday ale that they’ve been brewing annually for 35 years. And this year’s version revisits a much overlooked style. Redhook Winterhook 2019 is 6% ABV Brown Ale (remember them?), with a rich malty mouthfeel and a crisp, dry finish.

Boston Beer Winters Down (Boston, MA) – Every winter Samuel Adams releases its annual Winter Variety Pack, a collection of cold weather classics and staples. And this year’s 12-Pack includes a seasonal lager that’s as delicious as it is distinctive. Unapologetically rich and malt-forward, Samuel Adams Winter Lager is a festive 5.6% ABV take on the European Bock spiced with fresh ground cinnamon, ginger and orange peel.

Up The Kriek (Hood River, OR) – pFriem Family Brewers has returned exciting fall release that was inspired the Flanders Lambic tradition. Showcasing three differently aged Lambic variations that were reblended then rested on fresh cherries grown right up the road from the brewery, PFriem Oude Kriek is a 5.3% ABV Flanders Red-Style Ale with fruit and nut notes and a dry tangy finish.
