Not “Sober Curious” I (Chicago, IL) – Revolution Brewing is celebrating the January 1 legalization of marijuana across Illinois with something recreational. Free of THC or CBD, but crafted to showcase the deep, grassy and resinous qualities of certain hop varieties, Revolution Legal-Hero is an 8% ABV Hazy India Pale Ale which was double dry-hopped with ultra-dank Strata, Eureka!, and Columbus hops.
Mr. Sandman Lands Man Lands (Denver, CO) – River North Brewery is celebrating 2020 with a special barrel-aged variation of its award-winning Imperial Stout. Aged to perfection in Law’s Whiskey House Rye barrels, River North Single Cask Mr. Sandman is a 13% ABV monster that’s available on tap and in bottles, but only at the brewery’s North Washington Street taproom.
Need Proof? (Tallahassee, FL) – On Friday, January 10th Proof Brewing will debut an award-winning limited release in 4-pack cans for the first time. Proof Litany of Angels is 9% ABV Belgian Strong Ale with elegant candi sweetness and warming finish.
Not “Sober Curious” II (Baltimore, MD) – On January 17, Heavy Seas Beer will debut the first special release from its 15 Barrel Brewhouse in 2020. Brewed with acai and pomegranate, Heavy Seas Dry January is a massive 10% ABV Hazy IPA with a fruity ambience and uber-smooth mouthfeel. Dry January’s label artwork was designed by local Baltimore artist, Chris Gipple, of Nightshift Creative, who was also responsible for Heavy Seas’ 24 Anniversary beer label this past December.
An Every Day Haze Play (Ithaca, NY) – On February 6, the Ithaca Beer Company will introduce its newest core offering which serve as a companion to the brewery’s West Coast style Flower Power IPA. Juicy, fruity and deceptively smooth, Every Day Haze IPA is a 6.6% ABV East Coast Hazy India Pale Ale, that is crafted with a dynamic combination of complex aromatic hops.
