Beer cocktails suit the moment and with summer’s arrival, that moment is now!

So what is a Bramble cocktail anyway?

The Bramble is a relatively modern cocktail made from gin, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and blackberry liqueur. It is essentially a gin sour served over crushed ice. The drink was invented in London in 1984 by legendary bartender Dick Bradsell while working at Fred’s Club in Soho. He named it after the bramble bushes where he picked wild blackberries as a child on the Isle of Wight.

And Sierra Nevada’s take on that iconic cocktail beer marries wild bramble bush blackberries, with its bestselling Hazy Little Thing IPA, a 6.7% ABV India Pale Ale with fruit-forward base to begin with, a modest bitterness, and smooth finish.

Flush with bright orange, blackberry and pineapple notes, the Hazy Little Bramble cocktail is a fresh take on the modern classic and a perfect addition to your summertime gatherings.
