Best Summer Beer Cocktails: Mango Cart Paloma

|August 8th, 2026|

An orange mango cocktail garnished with fruit slices and mint sits on a wooden table next to a can of Golden Road Mango Cart wheat ale.

Beer cocktails suit the moment and with summer’s arrival, that moment is now!

Here’s a refreshing beer cocktail that plays to the juicy tropical character of Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat Ale, a light 4% ABV wheat ale brewed with real mango flavor and a crisp finish.

The wheat ale’s bright mango flavor complements the earthy agave notes of tequila, while fresh grapefruit and lime add a crisp citrus bite. The touch of salt ties everything together, making this an ideal warm-weather patio cocktail.

Let’s do this.

Mango Cart Paloma

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz) Golden Road Mango Cart Wheat Ale, chilled
  • 1 1/2 oz blanco tequila
  • 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave nectar (adjust to taste)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Tajín or chili-lime seasoning for the rim (optional)
  • Mango slice and lime wheel for garnish

Directions

  1. Rim a tall glass with lime juice and Tajín if desired.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Add the tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, agave nectar, and a small pinch of sea salt.
  4. Stir gently until well combined.
  5. Slowly top with the chilled Mango Cart Wheat Ale.
  6. Give the cocktail one gentle stir and garnish with a mango slice and lime wheel.

Beer Pairing

Serve alongside fish tacos, grilled shrimp, spicy chicken wings, or fresh guacamole and chips. The fruity beer and citrus keep the cocktail refreshing even with spicy foods
