Best Beer Variety Packs: Firestone Walker 2026 All-IPA Release Looks West

California brewing legend Firestone Walker just released its newest variety pack, and it’s a standout, especially if you’re a fan of the West Coast Style IPA fan.
The new 2026 IPA Mixed Pack features special selection of hop-forward beers that go to the heart of West Coast California beer culture, including the return of two pack exclusives—Electric Eagle and Easy Jack.
Landing amid Firestone Walker’s 30th anniversary year, this mixed pack is a hand-picked lineup of award-winning, style-defining IPAs. No weak links, just four beers that stand shoulder-to-shoulder in a box built for true hop heads.
“This new pack captures the range of what West Coast IPA brewing can be, from classic expressions to newer flavors that push the style forward,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “It also reflects our decades-long passion for creating hop-forward beers with balance, flavor and a distinct California point of view.”
And here’s what’s inside…
Firestone IPA | 6.5% ABV
Firestone IPA is a future-forward beer built on classic West Coast bones, layered with Firestone Walker flair. It pulls from nearly two decades of experience refining the ever-evolving IPA style.
Lessons learned from beers like Union Jack, Luponic Distortion, and Hopnosis are all baked into this release, resulting in a beer that checks every box of a modern West Coast IPA.
Liberally dry-hopped with Mosaic and Strata, it bursts with passionfruit, pineapple, and citrus. It’s a 2024 European Beer Star gold medalist—and notably, a mixed-pack exclusive.
Firestone Easy Jack IPA | 4.2% ABV
Brewed with a proprietary blend of new-age hops, the 2026 edition of Easy Jack remains a go-to “end-of-workday” beer at the brewery.
This is the everyday IPA: lower in alcohol, bright in hop character, and finished with a pleasantly lingering snap. It’s the kind of beer you don’t overthink—perfect for long afternoons, easy conversations, and second rounds. Flavor-forward, but intentionally light on its feet.
Union Jack West Coast IPA | 7.0% ABV
Union Jack is the original Firestone Walker West Coast IPA, brewed on California’s Central Coast since 2006—and a foundational beer in the rise of the style.
Named for the British lion that appears in the brewery’s iconography, Union Jack is assertively hoppy yet remarkably balanced. It remains a go-to for hop heads and a reliable benchmark for the style.
It’s also a 2025 World Beer Cup gold medal winner—proof that some classics never fade.
Firestone Electric Eagle | 7.0% ABV
Two Central Coast icons are making noise with the return of Electric Eagle, a West Coast IPA brewed by Firestone Walker in collaboration with legendary guitar string maker Ernie Ball.
A Firestone Mixed Pack exclusive, this is West Coast-style India Pale ale, features of mix of Pacific Northwest and Southern Hemisphere hop varieties. This is a lean IPA that’s all about punchy hop flavors with enough body to support them.
“We used a mix state-of-the-art hop formats for high aroma and flavor impact, said Sam Tierney, brewery manager at Firestone Walker’s Propagator R&D brewhouse in Venice, where Electric Eagle was originally brewed, “including traditional hop pellets and Incognito hop extract for a clean bitterness and punchy flavor boost.”
