Molson Coor’s Italian beer brand, Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%,  and Formula 1’s most successful racing division, are racing into 2025 with a new campaign that celebrates Scuderia Ferrari HP’s newest driver.

Here’s the deal..

Peroni Nastro Azzurro is a premium pilsner beer from the brewery, Peroni di Roma, in Rome, Italy that is brewed using the original recipe since 1963 and Peroni 0.0% is its buzz-free sibling

Peroni 0.0% is brewed with “an innovative dealcoholization process to deliver the superior taste that customers expect from Peroni Nastro Azzurro,” Cara Lauritzen, senior marketing manager for Peroni told Beer & Beyond. “People choose Peroni because they want that taste of Italy in their hand, they want that elevated experience. They’re going to get that with Peroni 0.0%.”

And now Peroni 0.0% is kicking off the second year of its partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP (the official name of Ferrari’s Formula 1 racing team) with a new campaign that celebrates its newest member, Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion who recently left the Mercedes racing division to join Scuderia, the oldest surviving and most successful Formula 1 team in the competition’s history.

As part of the campaign,  Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and Scuderia Ferrari HP are releasing a short film by acclaimed Danish director Martin Werner, renowned for his extensive work in the commercial film industry.

Throughout his career, Werner has directed award-winning commercials for prominent brands such as Coca-Cola, Audi, Carlsberg, Café Noir, DNB Bank, Heineken, BT, Magnum, and IKEA. His work is characterized by cinematic storytelling and he brings his talents to bear for Peroni in “The Welcome Present”

The ”welcome” present turns out to be 44 cases of Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%, a nod to Hamilton’s racing number, #44.

“Racing is a true cultural phenomenon,” Senior Marketing Manager Michelle Nagel told Beer & Beyond,  “And Scuderia Ferrari has a storied Italian heritage that aligns perfectly with the Peroni brand.”

Scuderia Ferrari’s world-famous racing driver Charles Leclerc ( he’s the other driver in the video) also returns as a Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%’s global brand ambassador in 2025

Molson Coor’s newest campaign  comes as Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% continues its impressive run. Dollar sales are up 34.9% and volume sales are up 33.9% compared to the previous year, according to Circana for the 13 weeks ending March 2.
