This weekend’s collection of winter beer offerings are dark, hoppy, hazy, and Super Bowl-ready!

Like A Rolling Stone (Seattle, WA) – Elysian Brewing has a new partnership offering that it did with the Rolling Stone, a leading voice of music and popular culture for 50 years. Debuting in Miami on Saturday, February 1, at the Rolling Stone LIVE: Miami Big Game Experience and shipping nationwide in April, Rolling Stone Lager is a 4.8% ABV exercise in branding timed to coincide with Rolling Stone’s tenth annual Super Bowl concert this weekend.

Get Dusted (Turlock, CA) – Dust Bowl Brewing has announced its first new specialty release of 2020 and it is ENORMOUS. Fueled on an extravagant abundance of  Apollo, Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic hops, Dust Bowl Supine Mega India Pale Ale is a 14.4% ABV IPA with striking label art designed by the brewery’s  long-time agency, Blind Tiger Design in Seattle, WA.

Darkness, Darkness (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer is celebrating 2020 with the return of an Uncharted Waters Series classic. Aged in bourbon barrels and brewed with local Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company’s Dark Sumatra coffee, Heavy Seas’ 2020 edition of Blackbeard’s Breakfast is a robust 10% ABV Imperial Porter with complex caramel and nut tones.

In the midst of this, an unassuming immigrant named Alfred Peet opened his coffee bar and changed the way Americans thought about coffee. And now the 21st Amendment Brewery has collaborated with Peet’s Coffee on something historic. Pouring pale gold with light white bubbles and fruity aromatics, 1966 Coffee IPA is a 6.8% ABV India Pale Ale that was brewed with Peet’s Ethiopian Supernatural whole coffee beans.

Truck This! (LaGrange, GA) – Wild Leap Brewing, is returning a cult fav which debuted then disappeared in 2019. Brewed with a flavor combination of ripe oranges, vanilla bean and milk sugar to taste like a creamsicle straight from the ice cream truck, Wild Leap Truck Chaser is an 8.1% ABV Double IPA that’s well worth chasing down.
