A Daring Hi-Wire Act (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing is keeping things hazy with the third edition to their Hazy & Juicy & Hoppy & Fresh Series of IPAs. Double dry-hopped with Azacca, Mosaic, and Amarillo to temper this beer’s bright aromatics, Hi-Wire Hazy & Juicy & Hoppy & Fresh Batch #3 is a 7.5 % ABV uber-cloudy and citrusy IPA with subtle notes of peppercorn and a silky smooth finish.
The Devil Is In The Details (San Carlos, CA) – Devil’s Canyon Brewing has just released something ‘devilish’ that’s been aging for an amazing five years! Part of Devil’s Canyon’s Barrel Aged Series, Pêche Lambic is a complexity, both tart and sweet, that was cellar-aged on oak cabernet barrels with both yellow and white California peaches added at different stages. Yessssssssssss!
Ichabod Creeps To Retail (Holland, MI) – Hey we get that it’s competitive out there. But shipping a pumpkin beer in early August is just too early, even when that beer is as good a New Holland’s is. With a proud heritage that can be traced back to 1997, New Holland Ichabod is a 4.5% ABV Pumpkin Ale that combine’s malted barley and REAL pumpkin with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.
In the Red (Denver, CO) – Black Shirt Brewing will be releasing something special on August 16th that was incrediably intricate and expensive to brew but worth it! Brewed with over 2,000 pounds of grain, 120 pounds of honey, a huge pitch of yeast and 6.5 pounds per barrel of the very best hops they could get their hands on, Black Shirt Red Evelyn is a massive 10% ABV Imperial Red Rye IPA that pushed the brewery to the brink but will have you seeing red.
Sauvignon Blanc Meet Saison (St Louis, MO) – Schlafly Beer has an exciting new From The Ibex Cellar release, a series of beers from the Schlafly Tap Room’s exclusive Ibex Cellar. Aged in sauvignon blanc barrels from seven award-winning wineries in both France and California, Schlafly Barrel-Aged Saison is a 7.5% ABV that’s been nuanced by white oak and hints of wine country.
