This weekend’s collection of new beer offerings runs the gamut…And every one of them is crazy interesting!
Firestone Walker Distorts The 13th (Paso Robles, CA) – The 13th release in Firestone Walker’s ever-evolving Luponic Distortion IPA Series leads with a new custom-grown hop from Washington’s Yakima Valley. In addition to this new experimental variant, Firestone Walker Luponic Distortion No. 13 also features a supporting cast of five additional hops. Collectively, these hops provide a unique profile of piña colada, key lime and nectarine, once again showcasing Luponic Distortion’s mantra of “flavors through hops.”
Canned (Asheville, NC) – One of the original 22 oz. bomber releases from Hi-Wire Brewing’s specialty program in 2015 will be returning the third week in June in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans. Pumped with Citra hops, papaya, passion fruit and mango flavors and aromatics, Hi-Wire Tropical Golden Strong Ale is a massive 11.3% ABV American Strong Ale with a dank, tropical fruit-forward profile.
Sour Power (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic Brewing is keeping their latest Cosmic Collaboration Series beer close to home, partnering with Portland’s Breakside Brewery to craft something special that that celebrates the brewery’s fifth anniversary. Brewed with Pale and Munich malts, wheat and oats, Ecliptic/Breakside Nectarine Sour Ale is an 8.2% ABV Wild Ale that is crafted with both pureed and fresh nectarines and a house lactobacillus strain to add a classic sour ale flavor profile.
Garage Project (Temecula, CA) – If you are looking for an intriguing beer drinking experience, look no further than Garage Brewing Co.’s latest. Available at Garage Brewing’s brewpub and coming soon in 12 oz. cans, 22 oz. bottles and draft, Garage Chocolate Peanut Butter Milk Stout is a full-bodied 7.5% ABV exercise in dark decadence that might be sinful but doesn’t disappoint.
