This weekend’s collection of new beer offerings are robust and cold-weather ready…So welcome to our latest Beer Run for 2019…And it’s already shaping up to be a great year for craft beer.

In A Quandary (Denver, CO) – On January 19th, River North Brewery will be returning something intense that has been pillar of the brewery’s barrel program since 2013. Renowned for its layers of balanced complexity, River North Whiskey Barrel Quandary 2019 is massive Abbey-style Quadruple Ale that was aged in nothing but the finest Colorado bourbon barrels this time around.

Starting Your Day With A Good Breakfast (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer will be retuning a special Uncharted Waters Series release in February that’s one of our all-time favorites. Aged in bourbon barrels and brewed with local Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company’s Dark Sumatra coffee, Heavy Seas Blackbeard’s Breakfast is a 10% ABV Imperial Porter with BIG notes of caramel and subtle nut characteristics.

Is Irish Potato Candy Really A Thing? (Somerdale, NJ) – The Garden State’s largest craft brewery, Flying Fish Brewing is bringing the flavors of a traditional Philadelphia confection to a can just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Inspired by a candy that we’re pretty sure most of the world has never heard of, Flying Fish IPC Stout is a dark and rich 10.3% ABV limited release with sweet hints of coconut and cinnamon.beer, Beer Run – New Abbey Ales, Craft Pilsners And Dark Lagers

Super Bowl Ready (Fort Bragg, CA) – North Coast Brewing has the perfect alternative to the more obvious Super Bowl Big Beer plays. A ‘many times’ World Beer Championship and GABF winner, North Coast Scrimshaw is a 4.7% ABV Pilsner Lager with only 100 calories and 2g’s of carbs.

Bock On The Street (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing recently released something new from Its High Gravity 4-Pack Series. Taking its lead the classic German Doppelbock tradition, Hi-Wire Twice as Nice is a full-flavored and robust 10% ABV Dark Lager that’s “large and in charge.”
