New Craft Beer Festival Will Showcase Latino Brewers (Denver, CO) – What began as a simple idea when Jose Beteta and Tamil Maldonado started seriously working on their soon to open Raices Brewing, will become a reality on September 14 when Suave Fest “the first craft-beer festival in the country dedicated to Latino-owned craft breweries, as well as Latino culture and community” launches in Denver.
The Brewers Association recently awarded Raices Brewing one of its six inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Event grants. And Westword is reporting that ‘”the money will help fund Suave Fest, a beer celebration that will highlight Colorado’s small but growing number of Latino brewery owners — not to mention Latino craft-beer drinkers — this fall.”

Creature Comforts Beer Makes Cameo in Avengers: Endgame (Athens, GA) – One of the many revelations in Avengers: Endgame, which has amassed more than $2 billion in ticket sales already and is on course to break $2.8 billion all-time global record held by Avatar, is that “the God of Thunder” likes craft beer…and Creature Comforts Beer in particular.
USA Today Is reporting that Avengers: Endgame, features Thor (Chris Hemsworth) with a can of Creature Comforts German wheat beer Athena in one scene and the “God of Thunder” holding a can of Creature Comforts’ Tropicália India Pale Ale in another.
