Thanksgiving is nearing and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with more exciting offerings you’re gonna want have around.
Stout Stuff (San Diego, CA) – AleSmith Brewing is celebrating the winter holidays with the final quarterly limited-release from its Speedway Stout Series. A delicately indulgent rendition of AleSmith’s signature original, AleSmith Speedway Stout Variant #4: Madagascar Vanilla & Ceylon Alba Cinnamon is a 12% ABV Imperial Stout with a subtle milky sweetness interlaced with notes of chocolate, roast and a gentle spiciness.
“We always look forward to these quarterly releases, so I’m thrilled to bring this next variant to Speedway Stout lovers everywhere,” says Ryan Crisp, Head Brewer and Director of Brewery Operations at AleSmith.
“It’s a really fun concept, since we get to exercise our creativity during the brewing process, plus we know our Imperial stout has a large following of beer-drinkers that look forward to trying these new creations, which makes it that much more rewarding. This will be a strong end to our 2021 series!”
Cherry Oh (Indianapolis, IN) – Sun King Brewing has returned a complex cherry cocktail of wild yeasts and aged in a bevy of barrels. Brewed with an almost reckless abundance of Montmorency cherries, Sun King Cherry Busey is a 6.9% ABV Flanders-style Red Ale with big cherry, raspberry and stone fruit aromatics and a sour sweetness that lingers.
Ritualistic (Portland, OR) – The first B Corp brewery in the Pacific Northwest, Hopworks Urban Brewery has a new beer that was brewed with Salmon-Safe hops from another Pacific Northwest local B Corp, Roy Farms. Brewed with Citra, Azacca, and El Dorado hops, Hopworks Winter Ritual Cold IPA is a 6.7% ABV India Pale Ale brimming with bright citrus and tropical fruit notes.
“Winter Ritual is the perfect balance of crisp and hoppy as we head into the winter months,” said Matt Speckenbach, Head Brewer at Hopworks.
“I’ll definitely be drinking mine with friends around the fire this season. It’ll be perfect after a long day of skiing on the mountain!”
