It’s November and breweries are looking to the winter holidays…And we’ve five intoxicating craft beer directions that you might want to chase down with the nights getting longer.

10 Years Coming (Portland, OR) – On Friday, November 9th Cascade Brewing will be returning a classic for the first time in a decade. Considered one of the biggest “white whales” in Cascade’s history, Cuvée du Jongleur 2017 is a select red, triple and quad sour ale blend that was aged in oak barrels for up to three years. The 2017 version pays homage to the original blend, juggling a variety of base beers that offer the clean and complex flavors that has come to define Cascade’s Northwest sour ales.

Wintering Down (Seattle, WA) – Kicking off its much-anticipated 2019 Gose seasonal lineup, Reuben’s Brews is releasing something special for the winter holidays. Fermented with the brewery’s house lactobacillus culture and more than 10 pounds of cranberries per barrel, Reuben’s 2018 Holiday Gose is further toned by sweet orange zest, a touch of coriander and a hint of sea salt.

Weighing in at an unapologetic 10% ABV and sporting a sturdy malt sweetness that’s tempered by Northern Brewer and Chinook hops, Elevation Imperial Stout is a slightly hoppier version of the original barrel-aged variant.

Undefeated Repeated (Oakland Park, FL) – Funky Buddha is returning its tribute to the 1972 Miami Dolphins, still professional football’s only undefeated and unmatched team. Now in its fourth vintage, Barrel-aged Undefeated Saison is blended with real Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape must and bottle conditioned with Champagne yeasts to achieve a very high carbonation level reminiscent of sparkling wine. This year’s vintage spent 10 months inside Chardonnay barrels to ensure a beer that drinks like Champagne.

Brut Force (Ashville, NC) – Coming off the success of its Hazy&Juicy&Hoppy&Fresh IPA Series, Hi-Wire Brewing is upping the ante with one of craft beer’s newer styles. Super spritzy, sweet and fruity, Hi-Wire Gimme the Brut is a sparkling brut double-IPA that pushes the limits of how dry a hoppy beer can be.
