With October nearing there’s no avoiding it, fall is on the way. And American craft brewers are addressing the changing seasons with interesting offerings you’re gonna want have around.

A Wild, Wild Child (Buellton, CA) – Firestone Walker’s Barrelworks is returning the 2021 edition of Nec Bone, a 6.3% ABC barrel-aged Wild Ale co-fermented with 3,000 pounds of nectarines grown in the brewery’s backyard of California’s Central Coast.

“These locally grown Honey Fire nectarines are bright red, sweet, flavorful and juicy with a relatively low acidity—a perfect variety for showcasing pure nectarine flavor in a wild beer,” said Barrelworks Master Blender Jim Crooks said.

“We have turned up the fruit intensity several notches to make an undeniable wild beer.” “It’s like biting into the flesh of a fresh nectarine.”

Seasoned (San Diego, CA) – Colder months are on the horizon, and Ballast Point is celebrating the kick-off to the “darker season” with the one of the darkest beers it has ever released. Returning for the first time in 16oz cans featuring the iconic art  by Ballast Point resident artist Paul Elder, Ballast Point Victory at Sea is a MASSIVE 10% ABV Imperial Porter that never disappoints.

Ballast Point infused this year’s robust porter with whole vanilla beans and San Diego’s own Caffe Calabria coffee beans. The subtle roasted notes and minimal acidity of the cold-brewed coffee, balances deftly with the sweet caramel undertones of the malt and vanilla character.

Kiwi Crafted (Waitsfield, VT) – Just before Labor Day Lawson’s Finest Liquids debuted something special that has never been available outside the brewery’s Waitsfield Taproom until now. Brewed with a massive charge of New Zealand-grown Nelson Sauvin and Pacific Jade hops, Lawson’s Kiwi is an 8.1% ABV hop-forward Double IPA with big earthy citrus notes and a bright fruity finish.
