Influential (Cape May, NJ) – Cape May Brewing has renewed their collaboration with The Qualified Captain, an Instagram influencer and lifestyle brand in North Carolina and they are marking things with the return of the popular beer they did together.
Made with German hop Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Bohemian Lager yeast, Cape May Boat Ramp Champ is a 5.5% ABV Helles Lager that was crafted alongside The Qualified Captain for a crisp, clean, light beer that makes the perfect complement to a day out on the water.
Cape May Brewing has long been fans of The Qualified Captain’s Instagram, and CEO Ryan Krill is a boatsman himself, making this collaboration a great match for two shore-based companies. And the beer’s label art represents both brands, with Cape May Brewing Company founders Ryan and Bob Krill, and The Qualified Captain founders Aaron and Lauren Stasiak, represented alongside local Cape May scenery.
Almost Famous (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer is returning a summertime collaboration that it did with Royal Farms, a chain of more than 200 convenience stores located throughout the mid-Atlantic.
Brewed to be paired with Royal Farms famous fried chicken and available this week at Royal farms convenience stores and at the brewery taproom, Heavy Seas World Famous Pilsner is a 5% ABV Lager with a bright citrus flair thanks to late additions of Citra hops to the boil.
Key Notes (Baltimore, MD) – DuClaw Brewing has a new addition to its core lineup that’s perfect especially with the weather warming up. Bursting with pineapple juice yet low on calories, DuClaw Low Key is a 3.8% ABV Wheat Ale with crisp notes of citrus and pine.
“Looking back at our core lineup, we saw an opportunity to diversify, and add flair without sacrificing flavor,” said DuClaw CEO and Founder, Dave Benfield, “and that includes the first low-calorie beer release in the brewery’s 25-year history.”
