July is almost here and American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down.
Going With The Flow (Alameda Island, CA) – Northern California’s farm-to-barrel craft beer pioneers Almanac Beer Co. has a new addition to its year-round portfolio that honors a style which put California craft beer on the map. Solidly hop-forward yet amazingly approachable, Almanac Flow Pale Ale is 5.5% ABV West Coast-Style Pale Ale that according to the vrewery was “crafted for the modern drinker who loves to kick back a cold one after a day of kayaking, lazy river rafting, or hitting the mountain biking trails.”
“Nothing hits the spot quite like a refreshing West Coast pale ale,” said Damian Fagan, Founder & CEO, Almanac Beer. “It took over a year of R&D before we nailed the final recipe, and we couldn’t be more excited about the result. The bitterness is restrained, the finish is clean, and the body is light and crisp.”
Line Up (Bucks County, PA) – Neshaminy Creek Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery and taproom located just north of Philadelphia in Croydon, PA. Founded in 2010, the brewery has grown exponentially over the years. And they’ve a Keystone Series release that pairs perfectly with summer.
Dialed up to 11 with Apollo, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, and Simcoe hops in the kettle, and dry-hopped for a week-long trip with Mosaic, Neshaminy Creek County Line IPA is a 6.6% ABV India Pale Ale with bright notes of pine, lemon, and grapefruit that linger.
Laid Back Drinking (Shiner, TX) – The Spoetzl Brewery, home to the legendary Shiner Beer line, has a fun summer addition that was inspired a light, refreshing fruit drink that’s popular throughout Mexico. Crafted with sweet watermelon supported by bright lime, Shiner Agua Fresca is a 4.5% ABV Mexican Lager with subtle agave and hibiscus notes.
