April is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down.

Comes With Rice (Portland, OR) – To celebrate Ecliptic Brewing’s newest location, the Moon Room, a small batch venue specifically engineered for lagering, the brewery has introduced the Moon Room Series, a line of beers showcasing the world’s most interesting lager variations. And the next two beer in the series are Asian-influenced lagers. Ecliptic Japanese-Style Rice Lager and Japanese-Style Rice Lager with Jasmine are both 4, 8% ABV Pale Lagers brewed with rice for a light body and dry finish.

“We’ve had a lot of interest in brewing a Rice Lager,” said Ecliptic’s Owner and Brewmaster, John Harris. Both Japanese-Style Rice Lagers are brewed with pilsner malt and Adeena hops, as well as rice, which helps keep the beer light in color and body. The variant is finished with a considerable amount of jasmine, offering a floral nose and flavor.”
