Summer is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with an exciting roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around.

Elvis Is In The House (Portland, OR) – Just before the long 4^th of July holiday, Gigantic Brewing released a new beer that was inspired by an iconic Elvis impersonator, John “Elvis” Schroder who has been performing as “The King” around Portland for over 40 years.

Brewed as a fundraiser for the King, “who was evicted this spring and has still not moved to a permanent new home” according to Willamette Week, Gigantic Portland Elvis Gold Lager is 5% ABV limited release that is both a nod to the Portland legend as well as to Budweiser: The King of Beers. Proceeds from this special Weird Portland United Series release are being directly donated to John to assist him in securing new living arrangements.
