Fall is ON and American brewers are addressing the season with an intriguing roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around as things cool down.

Have A Ball (Paso Robles, CA) – Firestone Walker Brewing just announced a new beer they did in collaboration with legendary guitar string maker Ernie Ball, a kinship that goes back years, rooted in a mutual appreciation for great music and beer.

Ernie Ball, the world’s leading manufacturer of strings and accessories, has been making high-quality electric guitar and bass strings since 1962. World-class players like Paul McCartney, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Slash, Jimmy Page, and Buddy Guy have all played Ernie Ball strings to create their unique sound. And like Firestone Walker, Ernie Ball maintains deep roots on California’s Central Coast.

Available for a limited time in four-packs (16-oz cans) at all Firestone Walker locations in Paso Robles, Buellton and Venice, as well as on draft at select Central Coast accounts, Firestone Electric Eagle is a 7% ABV West Coast IPA  that features of mix of Pacific Northwest and Southern Hemisphere hop varieties. This is a lean IPA that’s all about punchy hop flavors with enough body to support them.

“We used a mix state-of-the-art hop formats for high aroma and flavor impact, including traditional hop pellets, lupulin-rich Cryo hops for pure aromatic character, and Incognito hop extract for a clean bitterness and punchy flavor boost,” said Sam Tierney, brewery manager at Firestone Walker’s Propagator R&D brewhouse in Venice, where Electric Eagle was brewed. Mosaic sets the tone in the dry hop with a classic West Coast profile, while the Riwaka and Nelson hops layer in these classic Southern Hemisphere notes of tropical fruits and white grape”

The Guinness OG (Dublin, IR) – We’re big fans of Guiness, so much so that during a recent craft beer junket in Ireland, we would end every night the local pub with a Guinness Draught Stout in hand. But one Guinness beer is the godfather of them all.

The purest expression of the Dublin-headquartered brewery’s legacy, a beer that was first brewed in 1821, Guinness Extra Stout is a bittersweet 5.6% ABV Irish Dry Stout with roasty hints of hops, dark fruits and caramel, and an uber-dry finish.
