November is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the rapidly changing season with more exciting offerings you’re gonna want have around.

Hippie High Ways 2.0 (Venice, CA) –  Firestone Walker’s experimental small-batch brewing facility in SoCal, The Propagator, has released a second effort that was born of a friendship between Firestone Walker Brewmaster Matt Brynildson and Max Montgomery, owner and head brewer at There Does Not Exist, a cutting-edge brewery in San Luis Obispo.

In 2021, Max, who began his professional career working with Matt at Firestone Walker before setting off on his own, teamed up with him down in Venice to brew Hippie Highway, a uniquely drinkable hazy IPA. And in 2022 they’ve hooked up yet again and have doubled down on the origional concept.

Built on a base of Proximity Pilsen malt that is dialed up to eleven with Talus, Motueka,  Nelson and Riwaka hops, Firestone Propagator Series Hippie Highway 2.0 is a 8.4% ABV Hazy Double IPA that also uses a touch of Ekuanot Cryo to add another layer of tropical punch dankness. As with many of our Propagator canned releases, the artist behind Hippie Highway 2.0’s label design is Nachi Eltit.

We’re Going To Need You To Come In Saturday  (Framingham, MA) – Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing, an environmentally-conscience, awarding-winning craft brewery that sees beer as a way of bringing people together, has a winter release we’re pretty excited about.

With its name inspired by the cult classic film Office SpaceExhibit ‘A’ We’re Going To Need You To Come In Saturday is a malt-forward masterpiece, an 8.4% ABV Scotch Ale with subtle sweet biscuit and toffee notes and a smoky earthiness brought on by the brewery’s deft addition of peat smoked malt.

Darkness Done Right (Durango, CO) – With the return of Ska Brewing’s latest release the withdrawal symptoms that sometimes come with the seasonal departure of its Mexican Logger are over. Smooth and malty, yet with a mild bitterness from Tettnang, Cascade, and Saaz hops, Ska Mexican-Style Lager Dark is 5.2% ABV cold-weather seasonal with subtle caramel flavors and a touch of roast to the finish.
