October is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with exciting new beers you’re gonna want have around as the weather cools down.

Dunk Off! (Croydon, PA) – Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company is an award-winning craft brewery and taproom located just north of Philadelphia. And they’ve a playful new fall seasonal, that takes the pumpkin beer concept in an interesting direction.

Using the brewery’s Dunks Ferry Dunkelweizen as the base, then adding pumpkin puree to the mash and turning things up to elven, Neshaminy Creek Punkless Dunkel is a MASSIVE 8.8% ABV Imperial Dark Wheat Ale with dark brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice notes that pair perfectly with the banana esters and spicy clove notes imparted by the yeast.

Yield To The Dark Side (Waitsfield, VT) – For the first time in their history and just in time for fall, Lawson’s Finest Liquids has introduced something dark and decadent, across the brewery’s nine-state distribution area.

Made with huge additions of five hop varieties and seven malts, Lawson’s Big Hoppy is a 7.5% ABV dark and decadent Black IPA with a roasted flavor profile, a signature bitterness and uber-potent blend of hops.
