Big beers meet early spring seasonals in our latest collection of new beers for 2018…And we’ve five intoxicating craft beer directions that you might want to consider while you’re shaking off the winter weather.

Blended Beauty (Portland, OR) – Allagash Brewing is releasing its first non-wild, blended, barrel-aged offering that’s a powerful blend of four different beers. All those beers, crafted separately with various local malts, were brewed specifically to blend well together after a brief stay in barrels. Allagash Pastiche is a complex, yet approachable, amber blend with nuanced notes of caramel, dried fruit, spirits, and oak.

Milking It (Seattle, WA) – Redhook Brewery is releasing a new seasonal that was first crafted at their experimental small-batch operation, Brewlab. Inspired by the popular caramel macchiato coffee drink, Redhook My Oh My Caramel Macchiato Milk Stout is a rich, espresso-driven 5.5% ABV Milk Stout with just the right amount of caramel sweetness to balance out its espresso edge.

Aged for more than 5 months, in Bull Run whiskey barrels, Love, Lost At Sea 2018 is an 11.8% ABV American Barleywine that deftly straddles the line between malt madness and hop overkill.

Lager Meet Ale (Boston, MA) –Samuel Adams is harnessing  the rebellious spirit of the patriot they named their brewery after with their newest release that’s a unique union of lager and ale. Born in Samuel Adams’ experimental nano brewery in Boston, Sam ’76 is the 4.7% ABV end product of two active fermentations – a base lager and a base ale – each with their own respective yeast strains.

Soulful (St Paul, MN) – Summit Brewing has a new year-round offering that’s brewed with specially-sourced North Dakota barley and built around the concept that “barley is the soul of beer.” Crafted meticulously from farm to finish, Summit Dakota Soul is a 4.8% ABV Czech-style Pils with a lightly toasted body, pleasant bitterness and crisp, clean finish.
