Things get even more ‘cold weather’ in our latest collection of new releases…And we’ve five intoxicating craft beer directions that you might want to track down.
Winter Is Coming? (Fort Collins, CO) – Even though temperatures on the East Coast are still in the high 80’s, New Belgium Brewing is thinking winter and they’ve just shipped a popular colder weather seasonal. Returning for its sixth season, New Belgium Accumulation White IPA is a 6.2% ABV unfiltered India Pale Ale with a touch of wheat thrown in to keep things smooth…
This Beer Goes To 11 (Paso Robles, CA) – The next release in Firestone Walker’s Luponic Distortion IPA Series has shipped. And once again it arrives with just the kind of citrusy explosiveness that comes from 100 percent natural hops. Luponic Distortion No. 11 features a blend of six hops from three continents. The lead hop is a new cultivar from the Pacific Northwest that delivers a distinctive pineapple quality.
Massive Yet Minus The Mountie (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders has just released its sixth and final beer from the brewery’s 2018 Barrel-Aged Series. And without explanation from the brewery, it ships in 2018 minus the iconic Mountie riding the horse on the label. Working the same base beer as Kentucky Breakfast Stout, Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS), is an 11.7% ABV imperial coffee chocolate stout aged in maple bourbon barrels to create an almost transcendental drinking experience.
Glad Tidings (Alexandria, VA) – On November 2nd, the award-winning Port City Brewing will be returning a popular ‘fall to winter’ seasonal. Brewed with locally-sourced honey and Virginia-grown wheat, Port City Tidings Ale is a strong, spicy 7.8% ABF Belgian Blonde Ale deftly spiced with coriander, cardamom, fresh ginger, and grains of paradise.
Brewing Against The Currant (Newport, OR) – Rogue has a new “ground to glass’ ale that takes its lead from the black currants grown at Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon. Available in early November, Rogue Counter Currant is a light-bodied 6.4% ABV Fruit Ale with rich flavors of black currant and a dry, tart finish.
