Arcade Fire (Venice, CA) – – The Propagator, Firestone Walker’s experimental small-batch brewing facility in SoCal has a new beer that celebrates the 2021 hop-harvest and will satiate even the most rabid hophead. Coming in at an aggressive 9% ABV, Firestone Propagator Series Psychedelic Arcade is Double West Coast IPA that reminds you how defining this style can be.
Crafted with a base of pilsner malt for a clean and dry foundation, and fermented with Firestone ale yeast, this hop-forward small-batch release is limited to just 200 cases, and it’s available at Firestone Walker’s California locations as well as at its online store.
Made Of Stout Stuff (Humboldt County, CA) – Eel River Brewing is celebrating Thanksgiving’s arrival with a new limited release, that’s dark, sweet and hefty. Crafted with Belize cacao from Dick Taylor Chocolate, Eel River Vanilla Citrus Stout is a rich and creamy 6.8% ABV Dessert Stout tempered by Madagascar Vanilla Beans and orange zest.
3x’s The Buzz (Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog Brewery has a massive new release that’s so big you’ll have to call in sick the next day. Fueled on a pungent Citra and Simcoe hop blend. Flying Dog Triple Dog is an unapologetic 18.6% ABV Triple IPA that’s dangerously drinkable in spite of its ridiculously high alcohol count.
A Hazy Shade of Winter (St Louis, MO) – The original, independent craft brewery in St. Louis, Schlafly Beer has a new cold-weather seasonal that was developed across Schlafly’s three brewpubs. Crafted with a smart menu of Idaho 7, Strata, and Sabro hops, Schlafly Wintry Haze IPA is a 6% ABV India Pale Ale with an over-the-top juicy hop profile and a subtle bitterness.
