Anheuser-Busch Honors Farmers With 10-Ton Combine And Bar Creation

Say hello to the Anheuser-Busch ComBar, and we’ve got admit we didn’t see this thing coming.

Here’s the deal.

On June 16, the nation’s leading brewer debuted the ComBar, a fully functional mobile bar built straight out of a real combine harvester. And Anheuser-Busch , home to bestselling beers like Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob ULTRA, and Busch Light, is all about it. They created this 10-ton behemoth to mark the company’s long history of backing American agriculture.

And the scale of the thing is hard to miss.

Covering over 400 square feet, the ComBar features a custom wrap, a full array of beer taps, and an original grain auger that has been converted to look like a working tap handle. It is essentially a giant, rolling thank-you note to the agricultural community; the people who grow the ingredients that end up in your beer.

So why a combine?

Beyond the pure spectacle, the ComBar is an acknowledgement of the enormous industrial effort that goes into their products and the people who have earned their support. Anheuser-Busch drops about $700 million every year to buy barley, rice, corn, and hops from roughly 700 American farmers.

This combine meets bar mash-up is but the latest mascot for the company’s “Choose Beer Grown Here” campaign.

That initiative originally kicked off in March 2024 after several of the brewery’s flagship beers earned the “U.S. Farmed” certification. That stamp means at least 95% of the agricultural ingredients used to brew them come directly from domestic farms. Anheuser-Busch’s message is pretty straightforward: remind people that every beer starts in a field, and they hope you’ll buy brands that support local growers.

And, yes, the ComBar will be on tour this summer as part of America’s upcoming 250th birthday celebrations.
