Zwanze Love (Planet Earth) – Zwanze Day, an annual event celebrating Brasserie-Brouwerij Cantillon will be held in various locations around the globe this Saturday, Sept 28, with each location pouring this year’s release (a Smoked Lambic!). According to the brewery, there are there are slightly fewer locations that will be pouring the beer due to “problems we had with a few defective kegs.”

Smoked Art, Music, Food And Beer (Burlington, VT) – Zwanze Day’s not the only thing going on this weekend. Switchback Brewing’s Flynn on Fire Festival will be setting Burlington’s South End ablaze on Saturday, Sept 28, with a beer celebration of everything smoked, fired and flame…and a full lineup of smoked beers from the brewery’s Flynn on Fire Series.
THE ACB WEEKEND BEER PICK
In addition to power-pounding Brasserie-Brouwerij Cantillon’s smoked lambic, we’ll also be spending the weekend with a Small Batch Experiment from Iron Fist Brewing. Pumped with citrus and floral notes and just a bit of alcohol heat, Iron Fist’s Small Batch Experimental No. 8 – Feed Your Head DIPL is an 8% ABV Double India Pale Lager with a light straw lager and an egg white head.
