Get Fired Up this Weekend (Burlington, VT) – Switchback Brewing’s Flynn on Fire Festival will be setting Burlington’s South End ablaze on Saturday (Sept 29^th) with a beer celebration of all things smoked, fired and flamed…plus a curated selection of art, music, food and beer from Switchback and other nationally acclaimed breweries to celebrate the launch of their new Flynn on Fire Smoked Beer Series. And with nighttime performances from Bella’s Bartok and Doctor Rick…and live fire performance from Cirque de Fuego, what’s not to love?

On the Big Screen – This weekend’s most thrilling movie opening is a National Geographic film from award-winning documentary filmmaker E. Chai Vasarhelyi and world-renowned photographer and mountaineer Jimmy Chin. FREE SOLO is stunning and unflinching portrait of the free soloist climber Alex Honnold, as he prepares to climb the face of the world’s most famous rock… the 3,000ft El Capitan in Yosemite National Park… without a rope.

Zwanze Love (Dexter, MI) – Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, will be celebrating Zwanze Day 2018 this Saturday Sept 29^th with a MAJOR BEERGANZA featuring Jolly Pumpkin and the nation’s finest brewers. You don’t want to this year’s gathering…not with players like Hill Farmstead, Gigantic, Tired Hands Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen, Monkish Brewing and the Lost Abby coming to town!
