Taco And Beer Throwdown In Sin City (Las Vegas, NV) – Motley Brews’ second annual Hopped Taco Throwdown returns to Zappos Headquarters’ backyard in Downtown Vegas this Saturday, June 23rd and if you care about tacos and/or beer you want to be there! This year’s throwdown will include endless craft brew samplings throughout the evening from the region’s most exciting players including PT’s Brewing Company, Lovelady Brewing, Ellis Island, Big Dog’s Brewing, and Latitude 33, Bootlegger’s Brewery, Mother Earth Brew and more.
On The Big Screen – This weekend’s big movie opening is BIG, as in dinosaur BIG. The latest installment in a long running and sometimes exciting Jurassic Park franchise opens this weekend. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom returns Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard to the dinosaur infested island where it all began, and may come to an end when a long dormant volcano erupts.
TV Time & Streaming – BBC America recently introduced a seductive, surprising and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny spy vs spy series that’s impressive. Starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, Killing Eve centers on two women, a bored pay-grade MI5 security officer and a deadly almost psychopathic assassin, who become equally obsessed with each other as they face off in an international game of cat and mouse.
Border Crossing (Toronto, Canada) – One of Canada’s most exciting cities is hosting a major craft beerganza this weekend (June 22-24th) and because Saturday’s already sold out they’ve added a Sunday! With more craft brewers attending than ever before, this year’s Toronto Craft Beer Festival has upped the ante on SERIOUS BEER…so maybe it’s time for a road-trip?
