Summer is ON and American craft brewers are celebrating the nation’s founding with a smart roster of new beers that are generating a ton of buzz this season.

An All-American Lager Lands (Rochester, NY) – Rohrbach Brewing is marking 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, with something special. Brewed to showcase New York State agriculture with locally grown ingredients, including NYS Mackinac hops and Pilsen malts. Rohrbach America 250 Lager is a 4.9% ABV U.S. Semiquincentennial refresher that is worth celebrating.

Founded in 1991, Rohrbach Brewing Company holds was the first craft brewery in Rochester, NY. Beyond this patriotic seasonal, they are highly regarded for their “Classic Series” staples like their famous Scotch Ale and Highland Lager. They operate a production brewery and beer hall in downtown Rochester, as well as a brewpub in Gates, NY.

High Haze (Ashville, NC) – Highland Brewing was established in 1994 by Oscar Wong, a retired engineer and entrepreneur and a brewing legend in that region. It holds the distinction of being the first brewery to open in Asheville since Prohibition and is the largest independent, family-owned brewery native to the Southeast. And one of their flagship beers holds the honor of being Asheville’s first craft beer.

Originally launched as a draft-only charitable release that is now widely available, Highland Haze IPA is a vibrant, 7.4% ABV India Pale Ale with juicy citrus, ripe mango, and pineapple notes, a gentle bitterness and smooth mouth feel.

Mountain Beer (Frisco, CO) -Located at 9,100 ft in Frisco, Colorado, with another high altitude taproom the French Alps, Outer Range Brewing is a unique brewing outfit committed to crafting serious beer while providing a snowy “mountain refuge” experience.

Named the “#1 Small Brewery in the US” by Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine, Outer Range has also been named the Official Beer Partner of Vail Resorts in Colorado. Through this partnership, Outer Range’s artisan beers will now be poured across all Vail Resorts’ Colorado destinations-as well as at select on-mountain and base-area bars and restaurants.

Founded in 2016 by Army veterans Lee and Emily Cleghorn, the brewery is also celebrating its 9th anniversary with something VERY dank.  Outer Range Dank Orbit is a 7% ABV West Coast IPA specifically designed to evoke aromatic cannabis profiles through the use of botanical terpenes. This India Pale Ale is a regular special release, often dropping in conjunction with anniversary events or seasonal mountain activities.
