According to CNBC, The Putian Brewery (which is located in China’s southern Fujian province) is the largest such facility in Asia Pacific. And its state-of-the-art production lines, which can process an amazing 160,000 cans per hour fuel the AB InBev operation which will be capable of producing 1.5 million tons of beer a year!

The brewery is also planning for an extensive solar power installation which will according to the company to will “reduce emissions equal to the environmental impact of 780,000 trees.”

According to Euromonitor International, China drank an incredible 25 billion liters of beer in 2015 (that’s almost twice the US!), and Ab InBev has its way they’ll be drinking Budweiser going forward.
