The Best American Beers That Money Can Buy!

beer, The Best American Beers That Money Can Buy!For the last sixteen years, the American Homebrewers Association (AHA) has been asking its members, who clearly know their beer, to vote for up to five of their favorite commercial beers. And Zymurgy, (the official journal of the AHA), recently announced the results – and just in case you don’t get the mag, we’ve got some of the highlights for you.

Bell’s Two Hearted Ale Takes #1 For Second Consecutive Year

For nearly a decade Russian River’s legendary Piney the Elder has owned the prized #1 slot. But last year it came in at number #2 behind Bell’s Two Hearted Ale and Bell’s has retained the #1 position for the second year in a row!

And Bell’s Brewery’s John Mallet was understandably ecstatic about it…

“To be recognized for excellence by people who truly understand all that goes into creating and delivering quality beers and experiences to our communities is a huge honor. These values are true drivers for us all.”

“This is an incredible honor for us. We got our start as homebrewers” added Laura Bell CEO at Bell’s Brewery.  “We take a lot of that spirit into what we do today.”

There were a number of beer ties in both the Top Beers category as well as in the Beer Portfolio category that are designated as such with a T, (brilliant…right?).
