What was once just a small series  annual industry hangs has grown into one of craft beer’s most anticipated collaborative releases. And Sierra Nevada is taking that celebration on the road.

Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp, originally started as a creative marketing exercise over a decade ago, where fellow industry professionals made the trek to the brewery’s compound in Chico, California where they brewed beer together, camped out and partied late into the night.

Over the year’s it’s grown in vision and scale to become not just an ever-evolving collaboration series, (which become available as single or draft releases, or as part of Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp 12-pack).

And in 2017, Beer Camp went global and Sierra Nevada invited famous brewers from all around the world to participate which was as welcome as it was ambitious…

Equally ambitious is Beer Camp On Tour a roaming celebration of serious beer that first took to the road tree years ago and has fast become an almost rock festival level event that just keeps getting better.

And yes, maybe Coachella still gets the bigger bands…but nobody there is drinking as good!

This year’s collaborative eight city tour include….., Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp Goes Global As Tour Nears

Each tour date will feature all 12 collaborations, killer music and artisan foods, along with hundreds of visiting breweries poring their best.

Sierra Nevada has said that more than 700 breweries participated in 2016 and we can only expect that that number will grow this time around.

Beer Camp’s overseas collaborators for 2017 include, Germany’s Ayinger Brewery, Germany, Belgium-based Duvel, Fuller’s Brewery of London, New Zealand’s brilliant Garage Project, Japan’s Kiuchi Brewery and Mikkeller of Copenhagen.

Stateside collaborators this year include Boulder’s Avery Brewing, Bend, Oregon’s legendary Boneyard Beer, Houston’s Saint Arnold Brewing, Minneapolis-based Surly Brewing, SoCal’s The Bruery, and Tree House Brewing in Monson, Massachusetts
