, SAVOR X – SAVOR’S 2017 COLLABORATION BEER

One of craft beer’s most exciting presentations, SAVOR will be returning to the Nation’s Capital next week (June 2nd-3rd)).

And attendees, to what’s been called the nation’s premier craft beer and food pairing event, are going to be sent home with a parting gift, a special collaboration beer, the intriguingly named SAVOR X!

Held annually and now in its 10th year, SAVOR brings together thousands of passionate craft beer and food lover annually for an exceptional culinary (and drinking) experience.

And in recent years SAVOR has brought together a diverse set of brewers, and tasked them with crafting something truly special to commemorate the celebration.

, SAVOR X – SAVOR’S 2017 COLLABORATION BEERIn 2012, Boulevard Brewing and Sierra Nevada partnered to craft Terra Incognita, a SAVOR collaboration that created such buzz that they’ve  returned to it and released it commercially several times over the years.

For 2017’s collaboration beer, SAVOR has engaged the considerable talents of Patrick Murtaugh, master brewer and co-founder of Hardywood Virginia’s Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and New Belgium’s legendary Peter Bouckaert – and as you might expect, they’ve captured the moment to deliver something truly unique and ambitious.

Rich and creamy with roasted caramel, dark fruit and deep coffee and chocolate tones, SAVOR X is a 10% ABV midnight black, Baltic Porter brewed with cocoa husks from Nuance Chocolate in Fort Collins, Colorado.

In the world of limited releases SAVOR X is a one-of-a-kind collaboration and great parting gift from SAVOR that if past is prelude, is destined to become one of 2017s most valuable releases!
