Yikes, February’s almost over…and clearly the craft beer biz isn’t slowing down anytime soon. But no worries, Rumor Mill is always on the case, keeping you plugged in into all the beer news and lifestyle that matters. Plus we’ve an all-important update on what we’ve been drinking lately and you don’t want to miss that!

Amazon Beer To Go A Go? (Seattle, Washington) – Amazon Go, the internet giant’s new retail outlet that allows Amazon customers to shop for groceries, and quickly exit without having to deal with a cashier or kiosk, will reportedly soon be selling beer and wine at their test store in Seattle.

The Good News is that once this new program is implemented, “beer-to-go customers will only need to scan their phone using the new Amazon Go app when they enter the store, and Amazon (using a mixture of sensors, cameras and computer vision) will determine what beer was taken and by whom, and bill it directly to that customer’s account.

The Bad News is you’re still gonna have to find an Amazon rep at the store to okay your fake ID.

Words To Drink By (Seattle, WA) – “If you never want to be criticized, for goodness’ sake, don’t do anything new.” – Jeff Bezos, Amazon Founder & CEO
