, Quick Hits – American Craft Beer In Ireland, Peter Bouckaert Says Goodbye To New Belgium And More!New Belgium To Lose Legendary Head Brewer (Fort Collins, CO) – Industry professionals and craft beer fans are still buzzing about last week’s report that Peter Bouckaert, New Belgium’s longtime brewmaster (and ACB fav) would be leaving to be part of a smaller project later this year.

Bouckaert will be joining Purpose Brewing and Cellars a new farm brewery (also based in the Ft Collins area) owned by Zach Wilson and Laura Sickles – and we’ve got to think they’re making a bigtime  commitment to Sours and Wild Ales.

More Words To Drink By (Fort Collins, CO ) – “Getting involved in Purpose Brewing and Cellars makes me really enthusiastic…The creative collaborative art of the brews that will be crafted will enhance the Fort Collins’ and Colorado’s beer mecca further!”  Peter Bouckaert – Master Brewer
