Lupita & the 3 Kings is a massive 10% ABV Latin-tinged Belgian-style Quad that’s brewed with cherries, candied pineapple, cinnamon and orange peel.
More Temptation (Garland, TX) – One of Lakewood Brewing’s most anticipated annual releases has shipped and we promise you, this one’s brilliant. Lakewood’s 2016 Bourbon Barrel Temptress is their acclaimed 11% ABV Imperial Milk Stout wood-aged for up to 7 months in bourbon barrels from Colorado’s Breckenridge Distillery.
Seeing Double (Eugene, OR) – Ninkasi Brewing has returned a popular winter seasonal that doubles down on richness and redness and benefits worthy non-profits Conscious Alliance, Team River Runner and Women Who Code. Ninkasi Believer is a hop-forward 6.9% Double Red Ale with a deep dark malt complexity and it’s out there now – so you know what to do.
Wild Elephunks! (Ft Collins, CO) – Odell Brewing has a late December release that walks the line between sweet and tart. Odell Elephunks is a big 9.9% Imperial IPA that’s been aged in oak barrels with wild yeast.
Multiple Monkeys Soured And Oaked (Downingtown, PA) – Sour Monkey Victory Brewing’s 9.4% Brettanomyces-fermented take on their Belgian-style Tripel Golden Monkey, will happily be available in in 12oz bottles in the coming year. But that’s not the only monkey to back. Victory will also be releasing Sour Monkey Remix, a super-limited oak barrel-aged variation on January 20th but you’ll have to hit up one of their brewpubs to secure one.
