St Lawrence Brewing To Close (Canton, NY) – In the midst of a craft beer explosion that has led to an all-time high in the number of breweries currently operating in the United States, an Upstate New York brewer is reportedly closing due to slow sales in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive market.” According to New York Upstate, the brewery has already closed its tap room “and will cease production of its beers within the next two weeks.” Unfortunately we expect closings such as this to become more commonplace in 2016.
