Encouraged by the overwhelming success of Busch Light Apple’s return, Anheuser-Busch is bringing back another fruit-forward variation that was first introduced in 2025.

Here’s the deal.

Let’s start with the beer that kicked off the craze: Busch Light Apple, a rare release with a rabid cult following.

When Anheuser-Busch launched Busch Light Apple in the summer of 2020, few expected the fruity twist on a traditionally straightforward beer to catch on the way it did. Known for its rugged, outdoorsy image, Busch Light was not the first brand many people associated with flavor innovation, let alone apples. That is precisely what made the release so memorable.

Originally conceived as a limited-time offering, Busch Light Apple caught on quickly. When it returned in 2021, the apple-forward lager sold more than one million cases in less than nine weeks, prompting the brand to roll it out nationwide in 2022.

A red and white can of Busch Light Apple beer with condensation is shown against a white background. The can has small apple illustrations and text including "Busch Light Apple" and "Limited Edition."The truth is that Busch Light Lime probably would never have happened if Busch Light Apple had not been such a runaway success. Fans went wild for the beer, with one out of every three comments on Busch Light’s social media posts urging the brand to bring it back. To the company’s credit, it listened.

According to Circana, Busch Light Apple was the “#1 beer innovation so far this year” in 2025, outselling the nearest competing innovation by a three-to-one margin. Since its return in May, Busch Light Apple has become the fastest-growing beer brand in the industry, cementing its reputation as one of the beers of summer.

Now Busch Light Lime is making its return.

“After the strong response to Busch Light Lime last summer, we knew fans wanted more, which is why we’re bringing it back for another season,” said Krystyn Stowe, Head of Marketing for the Busch Family and Natural Family brands at Anheuser-Busch. “From the return of Busch Light Lime to helping shape what flavors come next through our first-ever Flavor Showdown, listening to our fans is always at the heart of everything we do.”

Fans can find Busch Light Lime in 12-, 24-, and 30-packs of 12-ounce cans at participating retailers across 25 states, but only while supplies last.
