Budweiser’s “Opening Day” Play With Major League Baseball

, Budweiser’s “Opening Day” Play With Major League BaseballBudweiser has partnered with Major League Baseball in a marketing campaign where local artists created designs inspired by their hometowns that will be featured on Bud cans in 15 MLB cities.

Looks like Anheuser-Busch who’s “America” Beer cans created such controversy last year, are more than comfortable “playing ball” in the big leagues.

Built in a similar fashion to a successful campaign that Bud Light has been running with the NFL over the years, artists were invited to show their hometown spirt graphically and to incorporate local landmarks into each city’s distinct designs.

Scheduled to go on sale on March 27th  (slightly ahead of Major League Baseball’s opening day), these special-edition “designer” cans will be available  in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Oakland, San Diego, St. Louis, Tampa Bay and Washington, DC.
