Fall’s on its way and we’ve five exciting new beers, from some absolutely ‘killer’ breweries, that you’ll need to check out this weekend.
Weisse Guy (Kansas City, MO) – Boulevard Brewing has a new addition to their fall seasonal lineup that we’ll definitely be chasing down! Light-bodied and tart, Boulevard Berliner Weisse is a 4.5% ABV refresher enlivened by soft lactic notes.
IPA’s Rule! (Eugene, OR) – Ninkasi Brewing has a new Special Release Series beer, which the brewery’s Jamie Floyd describes as ‘tropical, floral, juicy, resinous, and downright dank!” Ninkasi First Rule IPA is a 7.5% ABV India Pale Ale that’s pumped out of its mind on a complex medley of El Dorado, Calypso, Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra and Amarillo hops.
No Shame In This (Larkspur, CA) – Marin Brewing just shipped a special “draft-only” release that’s their take on a style said to have originated with Tired Hands Brewery in Pennsylvania and at Omnipollo Brewery in Stockholm. ‘No Shame’ Apricot Milkshake IPA is a 6.3% hazy India Pale Ale that leans heavily on lactose sugar to deliver a fruity yet creamy mouthfeel.
Autumnal Brewing (Bend, OR) – Move over pumpkin beers, Deschutes Brewing has a new fall seasonal that is inspired by the classic flavors of the European Märzen. Combining Germany’s latest hop varietals with Europe’s classic malts, Deschutes Hopzeit Autumn IPA is a 7% ABV India Pale Ale brewed to fit into any Oktoberfest celebration.
Fall Fueled (Covington, KY) – Braxton Brewing has a new fall seasonal that they are bringing to cans. Braxton October Fuel is a 6% ABV Märzen Lager with an uber-rich malt complexity that is deftly balanced by an abundance of Noble hops.
