Winter beers and robust dark ales dominate our latest collection of early December beer releases…And we’ve five uber-interesting craft beer directions that you might want to chase down as we look to the holidays.

Wynwood Brewing’s Police Action (Miami) – Wynwood Brewing has teamed up with The London Police (TLP) a Netherland-based British art duo who designed the label artwork for their newest release. An uber-robust take on the brewery’s award-winning porter, Wynwood Grand Pop’s Imperial Porter is a 9.5% ABV pitch black ale with hints of roasted coffee and vanilla, that was aged to perfection in fresh whiskey barrels

Saving The Best For Last! (Bend, OR) – GoodLife Brewing has a new draft-only Experimental IPA Series release that’s an ode to one hop, and one hop only. Brewed entirely with Mosaic hops Goodlife Secret Stash #005 is what the brewery is calling their “best stash of the year,” and it’s available now as a limited release throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Iconic (Houston, TX) – Saint Arnold Brewing has a special new Icon Blue release and this one is perfectly timed for winter’s holidays. Brewed with Mexican chocolate provided by Chef Hugo Ortega, the Southwest’s recipient of the 2017 James Beard award for Best Chef, Saint Arnold Icon Blue – Chocolate Milk Stout is a 5.6% ABV dessert beer that’s a drinkable Tex-Mex spin on a holiday classic.

Rich, robust and unapologetically decadent, Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock is a 5.8% ABV special release that was slowly aged on a bed of cocoa nibs sourced from Madagascar, Ghana and Ecuador.

A Black Tie Event (Atlanta, GA) – This Saturday Monday Night Brewing will be debuting their latest Black Tie Series release at their  West Midtown location between 12pm-4pm. Described as a “stratospheric hop experience,” Space Lettuce is a deceptively smooth, 8.1% ABV Double IPA that’s been hopped out of its mind on  Citra, Mosaic, Ekuanot, Simcoe, Mandarina Bavaria, and Columbus hop varieties.
