Special summertime offerings dominate our latest collection of new beers for 2018…And we’ve five exciting craft beer directions that you might want to chase down as we head into summer.
Juiced (Petaluma, CA) – Lagunitas Brewing has a new summer seasonal that will quench your thirst and up your Vitamin C count significantly. Starting with a wheatier version of their Dogtown Pale Ale that’s then madly infused with fresh Sanguinello oranges pulped into submission, Lagunitas Citrusinensis Pale Ale is a 7.7% ABV limited release that’s available now through June.
Blue Buried (Holland, MI) – New Holland Brewing is returning a summertime favorite that’s been a hometown favorite since its debut in 2016.Brewed with coriander, bright Mosaic hops and local blueberries from the West Coast of Michigan, New Holland Lost Dune is relaxed summer drinking toned by the season.
Summer Saison (Longmont, CO) – Left Hand Brewing has a new Les Quatre Saisons Series release that was “the inspiration for the entire Saison line” according to Left Hand brewhouse manager Jeff Joslin. Brewed with native Colorado ingredients that reflect the season, Saison aux Baies Amères is a 6.8% ABV Cream Ale with the mild tartness that comes with fresh Colorado chokecherries.
Suicide Blonde (St Louis, MO) – Schlafly Beer has just released a new addition to their From the Ibex Cellar Series and this one’s a re-blended masterpiece. Kettle soured with lactobacillus and aged on oak chips before the final blending, Schlafly’s From the Ibex Cellar: Sour Blonde Ale is a 5% ABV citrus sour seen through the lens of an American Blonde Ale.
Wrecked! (Easton, PA) – Weyerbacher has an aggressive new May release that’s unapologetically bold. Brewed with Citra and Wakatu hops and bright yet balanced, Weyerbacher Daywrecker is a 10% ABV American Pale Ale with a surprisingly sturdy malt backbone.
