Barrel Chested (Durango, CO) – Ska Brewing celebrated American Craft Beer Week with an exciting new Barrel-Aged Beers Series release. Mildly tangy with a subtle sweet bitterness, Ska Whiskey Sour a 6.8% ABV Sour Ale that was aged with orange and cherries in Woodford Reserve Rye Whiskey barrels to mimic the classic cocktail’s signature garnish. Yessssssssssssssssss!

Renewed (Charlotte, NC) – One of craft beer’s hottest beer styles right is the American Lager, which until recently had been sidelined for sexier vehicles like the IPA. And like so many craft brewers have lately,  Birdsong Brewing is returning to the long dormant style. The creation of Head Brewer Conor Robinson who plowed through three pilot version to get it right, Birdsong Rewind Lager is a 4% ABV easy drinker that’s delicately tempered by Sterling and Saaz hops.

Unpasteurized, unfiltered and bottle-conditioned, Airborne Beer is a 7.5% ABV Belgian Brown Ale with an incredible WWII history, a touch of brown sugar, and a taste that delivers.

Playing It Safe (San Francisco, CA) – The rejuvenated Speakeasy Ales & Lagers just released the latest from The Perfect Crimes Series, a special small-batch lineup of creative offerings that may only appear once. Available now as a draft-only release, but soon to be included in Speakeasy’s late summer variety 12-pack, Safehouse Saison is a 6.2% ABV rustic Farmhouse Saison with a fruity, spicy essence and a peppery finish.

Rogue Actions (Newport, OR) – Part of the brewery’s Hop Family Series, Rogue Ales has just released a defining and largely homegrown IPA.  Brewed with 10 hop varieties grown at Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon. Rogue 10 Hop IPA is a 10.10% Imperial Ale with big tropical aromatics and huge notes of pine.
