On The Big Screen – This weekend’s big movie opening is a contemporary remake of a 1974 film classic. Based on Agatha Christie’s a best-selling novel, Murder on the Orient Express tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect…And one man’s race against time to solve the crime before the murderer strikes again. Kenneth Branaugh directs and leads an all-star cast including Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer and Josh Gad.
Colorado Beer Springs Eternal (Colorado Springs, CO) – The 6th annual All Colorado Beer Festival returns to Colorado Springs this Saturday, November 11th and it promises to be spectacular time. This year’s beerganza will take place at a new venue, the Norris-Penrose Event Center, and will feature a mid-blowing array of hand-crafted exotics, seasonals, and rarities from over 65 of Colorado’s best breweries. With the temperatures expected to plummet this weekend we’ll be hitting up something special from Upslope Brewing that took home a gold medal in the Pumpkin Beer category at the 2011 GABF. Brewed using only locally sourced baby bear pumpkins, Upslope Pumpkin Ale is a 7.7% ABV limited release that’s an ACB fav.
