Everything’s Bigger In Texas! (Austin, TX) – Sponsored by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild and billed as “the greatest showcase of Texas craft beer…EVER,” the Texas Craft Brewer Festival returns to Austin this Saturday, September 23rd and it’s gonna be Texas awesome! This afternoon and evening two-session event will feature an all Texas lineup of more than two hundred beers including all kinds of seasonal and special releases. Just go…you can thank us later.
On The Big Screen – Okay, it was directed by Antione Fuqua, who’s made some great movies and it stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke and Vincent D’Onofrio (all great actors). But is anyone really interested in seeing a remake of a classic western that was first released in 1960? We don’t think so…But maybe you’ll let us know if The Magnificent Seven is any good.
Oktoberfest On The Bay (San Francisco, CA) – Tis that time of year so pull out your lederhosen… because this weekend Oktoberfest is coming to the “city by the bay.” It’s three days (September 23rd-25th) of bratwurst, polka and bier down at Pier 48 on the San Francisco waterfront and things could get WILD! TV Time – Seems we can never get enough of gangster sagas and there’s a terrific new Italian series on the Sundance network that you need to check out. Gomorrah is set in the rough suburbs of Naples, and focuses on that city’s organized crime, from its gangsters to the street drug dealers, and the ordinary people who live off them. Compelling and binge-worthy television.

We just celebrated the first day of fall…And like it or not the seasons are changing. So we’ll be changing things up this weekend as well, and going huge with something huge that we just received from Drake’s Brewing. Drake’s Aroma Therapy 3x IPA is a huge 10.5% ABV India Pale Ale that’s brewed for serious buzz!
