IPA’s remain America’s most popular craft beer style…just like death and taxes they’re never going away. And here are some new India Pale Ales that you might need to try this weekend.

Hot / Hot / Hot (Frederick, MD) – Maryland’s Flying Dog Brewing is turning up the heat with a new IPA that’s part of their Heat Series Hot Box variety pack. Heat Series Experimental Pepper IPA is a 7% ABV India Pale Ale that’s as hoppy as it is a “hottie.”

Drake’s Plans For The Hopocalypse (Oakland, CA) – Drake’s Brewing is doubling (and tripling down) with two new HUGE India Pale Ales that are available now in 22oz bombers.

Sharp, clean and crispy bitter, Drake’s Hopocalypse (Green Label) Double IPA is an unapologetic (.3% ABV celebration of Mosaic, Simcoe, Chinook, El Dorado Jarrylo, Polaris and Warrior hops.

Already a legend passed from hophead to hophead, has returned (reason be damned!), Hopocalypse (Black Label) Triple IPA is an almost suicidal 12.5% ABV India Pale Ale that’s as dank as it is unforgiving.

Ginning Things Up (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing recently debuted another Stone Imperial Seasonal release that takes its gin botanicals seriously. Stone Jindia Pale Ale is a “ginned up” 8.7% ABV Double India Pale Ale infused with an exotic menu botanicals that melds perfectly with the IPA’s citrusy hop backbone.

Batch #1 is Code 24 Old School, their original recipe, a 6% ABV Pale Ale that they brewed using Cascade and Zythos hops.

Batch #2 is Code 24 Bitter Orange is a citrusy take on their classic Pale Ale that they brewed using Citra and Comet hops.
