2017 has arrived with a vengeance…And we’ve the perfect beers for this time of year. Plus we’ve a very special limited release from Upslope Brewing that you may need to get your sweaty little hands on.

We Want The Funk (Clifton Park, NY) – Shmaltz Brewing has just released a “funk-forward” blend of eight ales and lagers that they’ve been aging in bourbon and rye whiskey barrels to complex things up. Brewed using an updated recipe for 2017 Shmaltz Funky Jewbelation is 9.4% barrel aged sour like nothing you’ve ever experienced!

A Neon Saison (Baltimore, MD) – DuClaw Brewing has just taken their popular Neon Gypsy IPA recipe in an interesting new direction by introducing Saison yeast into the mix. Already available on draft and with bottles any day now DuClaw Farmhouse Gypsy is a 7.4% ABV Farmhouse Ale / IPA hybrid that takes the unlikely in exciting new directions.

Peanut Better (Boulder, CO) – Upslope Brewing has a new Tap Room Series release shipping this month that we’re really looking forward to.  Upslope Peanut Butter Porter is a nutty rich, salty sweet refresher that’s brewed to be paired with spring weather and maybe even toast and a little concord jelly.

New From The Wood Shop (Bloomington, IN) – Upland Brewing has just released something new from their Wood Shop sour ales brewing division that sounds pretty awesome. Brewed with an eye to spring Upland Peach is a 6% barrel-aged fruited Sour Ale with a refreshing tartness and a super-fresh peachy aroma.

It’s Good To Be King (Manhattan, KS) – Tallgrass Brewing is getting ready for spring and they’ve a new seasonal release that should help us transition. Clean, crisp and subtly peppery Tallgrass Velvet Rooster is an 8.5% ABV Belgian-Style Tripel that’s champagne bubbly with hints of citrus fruit, earthy-grassy notes and a sweet, but not cloying, finish.
